A portion of the proceeds from the 5th Annual NGEAO Golf Tournament will benefit The First Tee Metro OKC. The First Tee Metro OKC is a non-profit organization that offers golf lessons and clinics along with much more to youths ages 7 to 17 across the Oklahoma City metropolitan region. NGEAO believes this local-to-OKC organization is a very worthy cause, and encourages its members and community to support The First Tee Metro OKC.  A portion of the proceeds from the 58th Annual NGEAO Annual Conference will benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s first Special Olympics event was an athletics competition at the University of Tulsa in 1969. In 1972, Special Olympics Oklahoma was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by a state-wide Board of Directors. SOOis authorized and accredited by Special Olympics, Inc., for the benefit of citizens with intellectual disabilities. Today, Special Olympics Oklahoma benefits 12,100 athletes and is supported by over 13,000 volunteer coaches and thousands of sponsors, donors and volunteers conducting more than 175 sports competitions and training clinics every year. SOO is an Oklahoma organization that NGEAO believes is a very worthy cause and encourages its members and community to support.
